Global girl group Katseye just landed in Manila for a three-day stopcasinofy, from Sept. 17 to 19, as part of the second leg of its Asia tour.
The six-member girl group composed of Sophia from the Philippines, Lara, Daniela, and Megan from the US, Yoonchae from South Korea, and Manon from Switzerland expressed their excitement to meet Filipino Eyekons, feeling the love from their fans as soon as they arrived in Manila.
“We already feel the warmth from everyone here. […] We are so happy to be here,” Lara said during a press conference on Sept. 17.

When asked when they will see Katseye five years from now, Manon said they love to “manifest,” prompting the girls to share their goals.
“One common thing for all of us would be headlining Coachella,” Manon added.
“And also performing at the Grammys,” Lara chimed in while Sophia added “performing at the VMAs” on the list.
Leader and lone Filipino member Sophia treated reporters to a Taglish version of their hit song “Touch.” She also shared that she wanted to retain the key elements of the “Touch” lyrics when she made the Taglish version for an interview in Korean music program Music Bank.
Touching on Katseye’s EP “SIS (Soft is Strong),” Lara said that the record tackles the beauty of sisterhood, while giving the message that confidence and vulnerability are equally empowering.
Theater actress Carla Guevara Laforteza, Sophia’s mother, shared the pact between her and her fellow “Katseye moms” that there should be at least one mom present in the global girl group’s activities.
“We are so proud of our daughters that we call each one of them our daughters,” the theater actress said in an interview.
Katseye will have a jam-packed schedule on Sept. 18 with a live performance on noontime show “It’s Showtime,” live interview and bus performance for Wish 107.5 Radio, and their much-anticipated official fan showcase, Touchdown in Manila.
“We are so excited to be able to perform tomorrowcasinofy, and we hope we can make you all proud,” Daniela said.
