“‘Love the Philippines’ is more than a slogan,” said Tourism Attaché Francisco Lardizabal. “It’s an invitation to fall in love with the distinctive sights, stories, smiles and experiences only our country can offer,”
Located at the intersection of Broadway and 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, Times Square is a cultural hub and a major tourist attraction.
It is home to many shops and the Times Square Studios, the production home for Good Morning America and other ABC News and ESPN programs.
ADVERTISEMENTComplementing the Times Square billboard, other tourism initiatives in New York include taxi-top advertisements set to officially launch in mid-December and Philippine-themed holiday displays at the LED windows of the Philippine Center New York.
“Love the Philippines” will also be part of the “Paskong Pinoy” celebration.
These programs are part of the PDOT’s continued efforts to promote the Philippines as a premier travel destination.
